In the Staffordshire Moorlands
We're privileged to be located in one of Englands most beautiful areas, The Peak District National Park. Surrounded by rolling hills, winding rivers and streams there is plenty to explore!

9 miles of former railway line for all levels, great if you have a buggy.
4.5 mile walk taking in two hills with stunning views.
The Peak District
Longnor may be out in the sticks, but we are very close to some historical and beautiful towns, as well as some lovely places of interest. We definitely believe these places are worth a visit.
Buxton - 6 miles
Home of the famous mineral water, there is plenty to see in Buxton, including the opera house, ornamental gardens and the crescent (currently under refurbishment)
Bakewell - 9 miles
Home of the original Pudding, not a tart!
Leek - 10 miles
A historic market town, with a range of antique shops.
Ashbourne - 17 miles
The gateway to the Peak District - Known for its Shrovetide Football match, where even Prince Charles has started the game!
Haddon Hall - 11 miles
900 years of history, if these walls could talk! Also used for film & TV productions; you never know, you may even bump into Dame Judi Dench!
Chatsworth House - 14 miles
A stately home with activates for all the family, including an adventure playground and farmyard.
Peak Cavern - 17 miles
Also known as The Devils Arse, it is one of four caves in the stunning village of Castleton.
Alton Towers Resort - 17 miles
The place to go for all adrenaline junkies!
Recharge after a long day of exploring.
